I have an early Christmas gift for you!
I was contacted by LDS Living Magazine a few weeks ago. I have never had a subscription to this magazine, but my Dentist in Utah always had it in his waiting room and it was my favorite thing to read. It isn’t a magazine that focuses so much on LDS doctrine, but more LDS culture and perspectives. It is a fun magazine and has a good mixture of practical ideas, inspirational stories, and even sometimes tackles hard topics.
They have a promotion going right now that if you subscribe anytime between now and the end of the year, you can get a whole year’s subscription for only $12.00! Giving magazine subscriptions for gifts is a really fun idea. A few years ago we got a subscription to National Geographic as a gift and it was the best. A monthly (or bi-monthly in this case) reminder that someone loved us.
But now the best part!
LDS Living Magazine wants to giveaway a year subscription to their magazine to one of my readers for FREE. If you are interested in entering please use the form below. The giveaway will be open for a week.
Merry {early}Christmas to one lucky reader!
Heaven is here by Stephanie Nielson and Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
My favorite book of all time is Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis. I'm due for a re-read of it!
Both of those books are great. I've been thinking about getting LDS magazine I feel a little out of the loop on LDS culture since I moved to WA.
I have heard this is a great magazine and wonderful resource.
My favorite books right now are David Bednar's trilogy. They have really affected my life.
Had a subscription in the past, but have not been able to the last couple of years. Love reading their magazine.
My favorite book is Light in the Wilderness by M. Catherine Thomas. You would love it, Heather.
Global Mom (Melissa Dalton Bradford), Still Alice (Lisa Genova), and Bread & Wine (Shauna Niequist) are a few that I've loved recently because they're beautifully written and inspiring. Happy reading!
Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree – best book ever. We read it at our daughter's missionary homecoming to the congregation and so many people had never heard of it.
I love reading LDS Living magazine. My subscription has expired.
Honor in the Dust is great
Favorite book currently – I really enjoyed A Tale of Light and Shadow. It's fantasy from Shadow Mountain but was really focused on realistic people I could identify with. My 13 year old loved it too.
Is this giveaway open to the UK? I couldn't see anything to suggest it was US only but just wanted to check.
I don't see why not! They didn't tell me other wise 🙂
Great! Thanks for hosting this giveaway 🙂
I like Edenbrooke and Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson.
Hi, Heather! My favorite book is A Sicilian Romance by Ann Radcliffe–it is a classic Princess-bride-esque set in Sicily.
My favoroite book is "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. This book has profoundly impacted the things I try to have gratitude for in my life. Plus, I like strong women. =)
C.S. Lewis is great. I really loved The Great Divorce and Screwtape letters.
More recently I enjoyed Gifted Hands
A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett – a childhood favourite that I still adore!
Angels by Donald W Parry. I love to learn about the gospel and I have learned so much from this book. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommend it!
Heaven is Here by Stephanie Nielson and of course Jesus the Christ by James E Talmage.
